Congrats Pittsburgh Steelers

Congratulations to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Super Bowl 43 champions! In a thrilling game, the Steelers outlasted a game Arizona Cardinals team who overcame a crushing play just before halftime, to fight back and actually take the lead with 2 1/2 minutes to play.

James Harrison made a Super Bowl record 100 yard play when he intercepted a Kurt Warner pass at his own goal line, and took it the distance the other way for a touchdown.

NBA All Star Teams Announced

The NBA All-Star game is set to go in Phoenix on Sunday Feb. 15th and the lineups are here.

Last of the college unbeatens falls

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons WERE the last mens NCAA basketball team without a loss, until they ran into Virginia Tech. The Hokies beat the number 1 ranked and unbeaten Deacons 78-71 IN Wake Forest Wednesday night. In other college basketball upset news, #7 Michigan State lost at home to the Northwestern Wildcats for their 1st loss in conference play.

Super Bowl 43 is set

Sunday February 1st is the date, Raymond James stadium in Tampa Florida is the place. The matchup is the Arizona Cardinals vs. the Pittsbugh Steelers. A classic matchup with a great offense going up against a stellar defense in the seasons NFL championship game.

College Basketball in full force

The NCAA hops season is in full force with conference play beginning. We already have a new #1 team the Pittsburgh Panthers. The Big East looks like it will be a beast again this season with 8 teams in the top 25. The ACC, Big 10, and Big12 have 4 ranked teams each, and the PAC10 has 3. The surprise of the top25 is that the normally powerful SEC only has 1 team in the top 25 and it is 24th ranked Tennessee.
